Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
