Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they become weighed down in debt? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
