And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
