"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
