Vanity (Al-Zukhruf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha Mim 1 By the Clear Book, 2 Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand. 3 And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom. 4 Can We ignore sending you the Quran just because you are a transgressing people? 5 How many a Prophet did We send to the earlier peoples! 6 Yet never did a Prophet come to them but they mocked him. 7 so We destroyed those who were mightier than these; such was the example of the earlier peoples. 8 If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they will answer: "The Mighty and All-knowing created them," 9 The One Who made the earth a bed for you, and made roads for you in it, so that you may be guided. 10 and who sent down out of heaven water in measure; and We revived thereby a land that was dead; even so you shall be brought forth; 11 He Who created these pairs, all of them, and provided you ships and cattle on which you ride, 12 That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. 13 To our Lord we shall all return". 14 But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful. 15
