The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
