Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
