Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Proclaim, “Go on waiting – I too am waiting along with you.” 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
