And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
