The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
