The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
