And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
