3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
