Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
