We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
