Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
