Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
