The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
