Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 No, indeed! They shall deny their service, and they shall be against them pitted. 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
