With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
