The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
