Surely, God will not forgive the ascribing of partners to Him. He forgives whoever He will for anything other than that. Whoever ascribes partners to God has strayed far indeed. 116 They [the polytheists] call upon female deities, and they invoke none but Satan, the rebellious one, 117 Allah hath accursed him. And he said: surely I shall take of Thine bondmen a portion allotted. 118 Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. 119 Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception. 120 For these people, their abode shall be Hell and from there they shall find no way of escape. 121 And those who believed and did good deeds – We shall soon admit them into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them for ever and ever; a true promise from Allah; and whose Words are more true than those of Allah? (Allah does not lie.) 122 (This) shall not be in accordance with your vain desires nor in accordance with the vain desires of the followers of the Book; whoever does evil, he shall be requited with it, and besides Allah he will find for himself neither a guardian nor a helper. 123 If any do deeds of righteousness,- be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them. 124 Who is better in faith than one who submits himself wholly to God, acts righteously, and follows the religion of Abraham, the upright in faith, whom God chose for a friend? 125 And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah, of all things, encompassing. 126
