And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
