O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah; that ye may (really) prosper. 130 Keep away from the Fire prepared for the infidels; 131 And obey Allah and the Noble Messenger, hoping that you gain mercy. (Obeying the Prophet is in fact obeying Allah.) 132 ۞ And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember God, and pray forgiveness for their sins -- and who shall forgive sins but God? -- and do not persevere in the things they did and that wittingly. 135 Their recompense is pardon by their Lord, and gardens with streams of running water where they will abide for ever. How fair is the recompense of those who act! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This Quran is an exposition for the people and a guidance and admonition for those who fear God. 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If ye have received a blow, the (disbelieving) people have received a blow the like thereof. These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you; and Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Or, deem ye that ye shall enter the Garden while yet Allah hath not known those of you who have striven hard nor yet known the steadfast! 142 You used to wish for death before you met it, so you have seen it while you were looking. 143
