Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
