The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
