۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
