We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! 59 But the assembly of his nation said: 'We can see that you are in clear error.' 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 But they charged him with falsehood. Thereupon We delivered Noah and those who were with him in the Ark, and caused those who rejected Our signs as false to be drowned. Surely they were a blind folk. 64
