No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
