No! By the moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
