The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
