1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
