3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
