The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
