The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
