▼ 21 The Prophets
Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. 101 They shall not hear even a whisper of it, and they shall live for ever in the delights which they had desired. 102 the greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them: 'This is your day that you were promised.' 103 On that Day We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll of parchment. As We originated the first creation, so shall We repeat it. This is a promise binding on Us. Truly, We shall fulfill it. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 He knows surely what you say aloud, and what you hide within your breasts. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
