Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
