Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 If they say, "He is but a poet; we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him," 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Or have they the treasures of your Lord with them? Or have they been set in absolute authority? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Do you (Muhammad) ask them for any payment (for your preaching) which they cannot afford? 40 Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). 46 The unjust will suffer other torments besides this but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
