We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
