The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On studded thrones. 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like hidden pearls, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The Companions of the Right 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 and banana trees, 29 and continuous shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
