Nuh said: my Lord! verily they have disobeyed me and followed them whose riches and children have only increased them in loss. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 And they say: By no means leave your gods, nor leave Wadd, nor Suwa; nor Yaghus, and Yauq and Nasr. 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 Noah prayed, "O my Lord! Do not leave on earth a single one of those who deny the truth -- 26 For surely if Thou leave them they will lead astray Thy servants, and will not beget any but immoral, ungrateful (children) 27 "O my Sustainer! Grant Thy forgiveness unto me and unto my parents, and unto everyone who enters my house as a believer, and unto all believing men and believing women [of later times]; and grant Thou that the doers of evil shall increasingly meet with destruction!" 28
