Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
