Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
