The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
