The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7
