The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the entire universe. 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Show us the straight path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
