The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Master of the Day of Judgment, 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
