The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
