And call to mind what time Allah will say: O 'Isa, son of Maryam! was it thou who said to the people: take me and my mother as two gods beside Allah! 'Isa will say: hallowed be Thou! It was not for me to say that to which I had no right; had I said it, Thou would have surely known it; Thou knowest that which is in my mind and I know not that which is in Thy mind. Verily Thou! Thou art the Great Knower of the things hidden. 116 I said to them nothing except what You commanded me, that is: 'Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' I watched over them as long as I remained among them; and when You did recall me, then You Yourself became the Watcher over them. Indeed, You are Witness over everything. 117 You may punish Your servants or forgive them for You are Majestic and Wise." 118 Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment. 119 To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent. 120
