Animals (Al-An 'aam)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
All praise unto Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darknesses and the light, yet those who disbelieve equalise others with their Lord. 1 He it is created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves! 2 He is Allah in the heavens and earth. He has knowledge of all that you hide and all that you reveal. He knows what you earn. 3 Never came there unto them a revelation of the revelations of Allah but they did turn away from it. 4 For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule. 5 See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation. 6 And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!" 7 They ask, "Why has an angel not been sent down to him?" If We did send down an angel, the matter would be settled and they would not have been granted any respite. 8 Indeed, if We had sent an angel as messenger, We would have made him in the form of a man as well, and would have thus added to their confusion. 9 Other Messengers have been mocked before you. But those who scoffed at them were encompassed by that they had mocked' 10
